Founded in Kobe, Japan, in 2006, MK Translation Firm (MKTF), is now a leading translation agency dedicated to English to Japanese patent translations.  In 2009, as a result of our business expansion, MKTF decided to move to the center of Osaka where a large number of patent law firms are operating. Over the years, MKTF has translated hundreds of patents of various technologies such as:

    • electronics;
    • chemistry;
    • biotechnology; and
    • pharmaceuticals.

    In addition to translation of a patent specification, MKTF translates prior art documents, OA, and legal documents.  

     

    As of 2012, MKTF has about 20 registered translators and operators.  MKTF provides patent translations not only to Japanese patent law firms, corporate IP departments but also to international patent law firms.
